Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, and especially Advanced 1 and 2 are what every young ballerina dreams of doing in ballet classes. Intermediate and Advanced ballet lessons are the place where they can really flourish. All the technique from the previous grades is built upon and these classes begin preparing dancers for the real dancing. It is therefore highly recommended that dancers have previous ballet training.
These classes further build the strength and technique previously learned. They continue to develop artistry and nurture a love for dance, enabling dancers to proceed to pre-professional and professional levels. An additional focus is given at these levels to details and nuances which take dancers from being 'good' to being exceptional.
Intermediate Foundation is a lovely syllabus which all dancers enjoy, bridging the gap between Grade 5 and Intermediate by introducing some of the more advanced movements required for these major levels.
Intermediate is one of the very best syllabi as it ensures the absolute basics for all the major work is achieved. It is a very full syllabus and prepares dancers wonderfully for the demands of the Advanced training.
Advanced 1 and 2 encapsulate what it really means to be a dancer. They emphasize the artistry and performance required from exceptional dancers, as they push dancers to achieve their best and prepare them for dancing professionally.
